School is out for...

at least 2 weeks.

And what a fortnight it will be. Soon to be winging our way to Hokkaido where the temperatures are sub, sub-zero for four days of skiing.

Only to return and pack up all the bongos so that the next day we can move to the new place. I'm sure we're going to have the energy and patience to do that. In theory we'll have gas, electricity and possible a phone. Internet doubtful.

One day to sort it all out then a visit to the soon-to-be-in-laws for the New Year. Tempura, pork cutlets, fruits we can never afford to buy, and lots of homemade yogurt. So as usual Santa will have stuffed my stocking with about 2 kilos of spare tire.

To return and get ready for the first classes that begin on the 8th.

As yet I have 2/5 of the lesson plans made, none of the photocopies done, and 232 unmarked book reports in my bag. That's obviously why I typing this. Procrastination - it's the name of the game.
