In the Clutches of my Pale Master

So why aren't I posting much? Or finishing the FFs I've promised? Or doing lesson plans?

If you answered "skiing", you're partially right, but a long way from the truth. Yes, I've been skiing, twice in fact over the last few weekends. But the real time-sucking-thorn-in-my-side is my new PSP (white).

How can so much joy be found in such a small package? I bought 3 games with it, Star Wars Battlefront II, Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories, and The Sims 2. I haven't yet got to The Sims because I can't stop vaporising ewoks (why would you want to?), or running down the gang members who foolishly roam Liberty City.

Help me Obi-Wan, you're my only hope!

Sadly, I have also become a psp widow (black). I now wake to the sounds of medievil, grand theft auto and that jiggly movment when he has to hit the keys.

And it is all your fault. Why me you say? Because, the headlights of consumerism shine from a very fast car. And we must all hop into the light.

Dave is One with Us, too! Great!

My eventual trip to London can be spent in a room with Dave getting "jiggly" with it.

Be warned - do not buy Lumines as I believe it has a direct link to the crack addiction areas of the brain. At least, that's the effect it had on me. I am only now exiting that long dark tunnel of addiction, turning my back on cries of "just one last game" or "you can get that next pattern if you really try hard enough" or "what's the deal with that checkerboard pattern anyway". Mostly.

Remember kids, Lumines - Just Say No!

What can I say - I had a flight to NZ mere days after the sodding thing had been released in Oz. The timing seemed too good to pass up. It seemed like something I could do whilst recuperating from any skiing injuries* I might incur. Or play on a plane, I suppose.

Of course, I bow to a darker master than yours.

*Curious factoid - for once there were none of them.

I've had no interest in purchasing into the UMDs. With so much free content about, it just doesn't seem worth it. But your article may just change my mind ;)

Truly, your web-fu is remarkable. I am in awe of your mastery of the Heron Point and Cricket Click Styles.
