Wanted
Wanted is the secret-society-of-super-powered-assassins movie that you would have written when you were 14 - heavily reliant on plot and violence, light on constructing a believable backdrop for this plot and violence. Thus it holds together right up to the point that it doesn't, which is about 30 seconds after the society of the secret assassins is introduced. How such a secret society would really operate is given no thought, and so the movie is reduced to one crazy gun battle after another. It would have held my attention more if I could have believed in the world of these assassins, but instead I found my mind drifting.
Surely you'd structure it more like a religious cult? Surely you wouldn't plan impossible-to-do-without-super-powers assassinations against ordinary (and unsuspecting) targets when something less spectacular (and less likely to draw suspicion) would suffice? Surely if you knew that there are those with the ability to bend reality a little (that is if you think that the ability to curve bullets is just a slight bending of reality), then you'd have a research division devoted to increasing that ability? Surely you'd...
get a good scriptwriter.
